Well windsurfers, the new year is with us, and its freezing, literally. Today JC and I went to check the boat etc (Ok, we went for a pint) and the broad is largely frozen, to quite a depth. For example, a brick thrown from the boat area just stopped on the ice surface. Pity, I had in mind Sunday 27th as BBC are giving as of today, 7C, 16 mph SW and, er, some rain. Monday is similar but no rain. But will the ice have melted by then?? Looks unlikely, given the overnight lows expected. Hey ho.
